Lifetime Warranty
At Race Inc., we take immense pride in crafting BMX frames that deliver unmatched performance, durability, and quality. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in every frame we produce. To stand behind our product, we offer the Race Inc. Lifetime Warranty.
What Is Covered:
- Structural Integrity: We guarantee that your Race Inc. frame will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser.
- Manufacturing Defects: Any issues arising from the manufacturing process or faulty materials will be addressed under this warranty.
- Accessory Mounts: Defects in mounts or attachments (e.g., brake mounts, accessory mounts) are also covered.
What Is Not Covered:
- Normal Wear and Tear: This includes damage resulting from regular use, aging, or cosmetic imperfections that naturally occur over time.
- Accidental Damage: Damage caused by crashes, impacts, misuse, or abuse is not covered under this warranty.
- Modifications: Any alterations or modifications not performed or authorized by Race Inc. will void the warranty.
- Improper Maintenance: Failure to follow recommended maintenance guidelines or neglecting basic care can affect warranty coverage.
- Commercial Use: Frames used for rental, demo, or other commercial purposes are excluded from coverage unless explicitly authorized by Race Inc.
- Environmental Damage: Damage caused by environmental factors such as rust, corrosion, or UV exposure is not covered.
How to Make a Warranty Claim:
- Contact Us: Email info@abmxcorp.com with details about the issue, a brief description of the defect, and proof of purchase. Photos of the damage can expedite the process.
- Inspection: We may request that you send the frame to our facility for inspection. Shipping costs for warranty claims are the responsibility of the owner.
- Resolution: If the warranty claim is validated, we will repair or replace the frame at our discretion. Replacements will be made with a frame of similar model and condition.
- Timelines: We aim to process warranty claims within 30 days of receiving the frame and required documentation.
- Evidence Required: Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, order confirmation) and, if possible, the frame's serial number must be provided for validation.
Transfer of Warranty:
• The Race Inc. Lifetime Warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original purchaser of the frame. The warranty remains valid as long as the original purchaser owns the frame.
Limitations:
• This warranty is the exclusive remedy and replaces all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Race Inc. is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, such as damage to other components or loss of use.
Crash Replacement
At Race Inc., we recognize that BMX racing and riding can push frames to their limits. Accidents and hard falls can result in damage that compromises structural integrity. To support our riders, we offer the Race Inc. Crash Replacement Policy for our race frames and components.
What Is Covered:
• Crash Replacement: If your Race Inc. frame is damaged in an accident or serious fall, you are eligible to replace it at a significantly reduced cost.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Original Purchase: The frame must have been purchased from an authorized Race Inc. dealer or directly from American BMX Company.
- Proof of Purchase: Proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation, is required.
- Damage Description: Contact us via email at info@raceincbmx.com with a brief and precise explanation of the damage, supported by photos. This helps us understand the issue and prepare for inspection.
Replacement Process:
- Initial Contact: Email our service department with proof of purchase, photos, and a description of the damage.
- Inspection: We may request the damaged frame or components be sent to us for inspection.
The shipping cost for returning the item is the responsibility of the owner. - Discounted Replacement: After inspection, we will offer a replacement at 50% off the original MSRP (excluding promotions).
- Owner Responsibility for Installation: Replacement frames must be installed according to manufacturer guidelines or by a qualified professional to maintain any warranty on the replacement frame.
Additional Terms:
- Model Availability: If your original model is no longer available, we will offer a replacement with a comparable model at an equivalent MSRP.
- Cosmetic Damage: The policy applies only to damage that affects the functionality of the frame.
Purely visual or intentional damage is not covered. - Return Shipping Costs: Owners are responsible for shipping costs when returning the damaged frame for inspection. We cover the shipping of the replacement frame.
- Returns: The damaged frame must be returned to qualify for the program. Race Inc. reserves the right to retain replaced parts.
